Again, Army Chief Reiterates Commitment to Training of Personnel
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, has reaffirmed his commitment to training Nigerian Army personnel in line with approved directives.
He stated this at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Mid-Year Courses Appraisal and Curriculum Harmonization Workshop in Minna, Niger State.
Represented by Major General Kevin Aligbe, Commander of Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Lagbaja commended participants for their professionalism in advancing improved training activities for the Nigerian Army Training Schools.
A statement by Lt Colonel Sani Uba, the Spokesperson of TRADOC said, the Army Chief urged the personel to remain resolute in pursuing excellence and achieving combat readiness through training.
He further emphasized the need to upscale military training to meet global standards, stressing that the security challenges facing the nation must be defeated. He challenged participants to remain focused and committed to achieving the desired training goals for optimal performance.
The workshop’s closing ceremony was followed by a cocktail party in honor of the participants at the TRADOC NA Officers’ Mess, Minna Military Cantonment.
